Title: Global Profiles Problem
Post by: Perrys on February 13, 2006, 08:09:11 pm
Version 5.1.25.

For anyone having trouble getting global profiles to load, I've found that the program will only load profiles using the following mask: g_defaul?.cfg

For example, a file with a profile named test will not load if the global profile is named g_test.cfg, g_default2.cfg, etc.  However, naming it g_default.cfg or g_defaul1.cfg works.  I've tested this many times, making sure to delete the test profile in between program launches and global profile name changes.

I needed to have 2 global profiles, one containing a standard default profile and the other a standard test profile.  Unfortunately, it took many tries before I found a solution, given that the program doesn't appear to work as documented.  Fortunately, I found a work-around and thought others might benefit.
