Title: Error occurred during the move data process
Post by: davidm on May 05, 2006, 08:27:58 am
When attempting to upgrade Ice TCP Pro from ver.5.0.67 to 5.1.26 on a Win98 machine, I get the error message "An error occurred during the move data process: -623".  What would cause this?

I would guess one of the following:

The hard disk is full
A hard disk error
A antivirus software blocking the install

The hard disk is not full, this machine does not have any antivirus, and I got the same error when attempting to install to another Win98 machine. Thanks for any help!

Ok, check to make sure NONE of the ice components are running when you install (i.e. telnetpro or icelp or ftppro).

That was it!  I had the printing component running.  Thanks for the help.
