I installed a new server and copied my liscense file over. I upgraded our version of Telnet pro to 5.1.26. My Windows 2000 & XP machines upgraded fine, but having trouble with my Win98 machines.
I upgraded this Win98 machine from ver. 5.0.67 to 5.1.26. I installed the software, but did not run the config wizard since I already had my liscense and key. But when I try to run Telnet Pro I get the following 3 error messages:
1)Dejavu: Initializing copy protection failed (3.0) Please run config wizard.
2)Telnet Pro: Connection error. Can't create CAquiarius class window.
3)Telnet Pro: Cannot create new session. Please run config wizard.

You have to rerun configwizard on the machines that had 5.0.67. Versions older than 5.0.81 are not compatible with newer ones.

Will running the config again mess up my license and key?
Thanks for your help.

Running configwizard just gets a sequence number from the licenseadmin server. Uncheck the "get configuration profile" box when running configwizard to keep your terminal and hosts settings.
