Title: Dejawint
Post by: nroy on July 01, 2006, 12:22:15 pm
Hi everyone,

I am installing a Microsoft SBS 2003 network at a client who already have a Windows server 2000 (Citrix metaframe).  On that Citrix server there is a VPN Connection to HQ IBM AIX server and they are using Dejawint for the emulator.  It is the first time I heard of Dejawint.

On the new installation I add a new SBS 2003 server and I keep the the Citrix server.  I had no problem configuring the outbound VPN connection from the Citrix server thru the ISA server 2004 (included in SBS Server 2003).  But my problem is when I start Dejawint for the emulation, I receive the error; Winsok:Connect failed.

Is anyone have any idea what I should open in ISA?

I already add a rule for Telnet on port 23.  I there something else I have to open.

Please help !

Hope you understand my English!

Thanks!

That's an unsuported 16 bit version.

You should update to a current version, also since you are using citrix you will need a thin client license.

email mailto:sales@jriver.com for details.

You can always try testing the connection using ms telnet.
start->run
type in telnet and the ip address of the server and hit enter.
