Title: Printing with ICE.TCP Pro
Post by: marianna on February 17, 2004, 10:04:29 am
Hello,
I'm trying to set up a local Windows printer to work with ICE.TCP Pro.  I have tried using LPD to set that up but it does not look like jobs are getting into the windows queue.
Is there a document with detailed instructions on this?

Thank you,
Marianna

Yes, there is documentation for that on the CD. There is a full manual in the DOC directory.

As for the unix side (LPR) that is dependent on the particular version of Unix you are running. you need to check out the documentation for your version of Unix.

NOTE: Your PC MUST have a STATIC IP ADDRESS to use the LPR/LPD printing method. If you do NOT have a STATIC ADDRESS you MUST use ICELP instead.

I have version 5 of ICE.TCP Pro and don't see a manual on the CD.  Do you have a link to the documentation on setting up IceLP?

Thank you

If you have an old version of 5.0 it shipped with a paper manual. A link to the current manual is here:

if you can't do ftp downloads fro your site try this:
