HP is getting worse and worse on just telling it how it is. Host based printing is the same as LIDIL which is NON-PCL. Yes you must turn on raster printing.

Raster printing would work fine for a user, but this is an office environment. Should they find a different printer that prints using a PCL driver?
-
I would look for a PCL printer especially since the raster driver only emulated a simple line printer.

I tried turning on raster printing on this customer's machine, but I coud not find it. The version of TCP-Pro is 5.1.19. I did see a checkbox for RAW printing though.

Need to update to a newer version. Check the Pro version log in the general information section to find when raster printing was added.

Purchase a TCP.PRO update and do a user install and exit out when configwizard comes up you will be all set. The only time you can't do this is when the existing version is <5.0.81. In that case you need to update the license server first.
