Starting environment:
Windows 2000 SP 4 and ICE TCP-Pro v. 5.1.0.9
Everything printed fine
New environment:
Windows XP SP2 and ICE TCP--Pro v 5.1.25
Chops the right margin or doesn't print at all (usually the latter)
I have tried File->Print Screen and <Right-click>->'Print Screen' (with 'Use default printer' selected)
I have tried 'Normal', 'Raster', and 'Direct'
I have verified the default printer

You didn't mention the type of printer however I would guess that raster print works but chops at the right margin. I suggest you use raster printing then adjust the print size as suggested here:

Good point on the printer model... it's a Lanier LD160c (MFC)
Set to 80 characters, still having the same problem.
-
Use a larger divisor. Sometimes the printer returns less than perfect values for visible page width. Try 86 or so...
-
Tried 88, no change.

You probably don't have the variable name typed in exactly right in the registry. You could try version 5.1.26 but according to the changelog the variables were added in 5.1.25.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER->SOFTWARE->J.RIVER->ICE.TCP->5.0
Add HorizontalPrintableChars try 90 decimal. You may have to add the VerticalPrintableChars set to 66 as well.
-
Verified spelling
Already using 5.1.26
90 returns the same result
... you wouldn't happen to have version 5.1.09 kicking around would you? That version is working like a champ.

Very weird. It works fine for me here.
Try using notepad to put the following lines into a file. Save it as width.reg. Double click on it to add the values to the registry (without telnetpro running). Next startup pro, make sure it's set to raster printing and try it again.
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\J. River\ICE.TCP\5.0]
"SpecialSCOTelnet"=hex:00
"KeepAlive"=dword:00000001
"LanguageSettings"=dword:00000009
"HorizontalPrintableChars"=dword:0000005a
"VerticalPrintableChars"=dword:00000046

Also, changing to an older version of Pro probably won't make any difference, the problem is more likely to be windows.
Anyway, you can get the last non-static mfc version in
ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/tcp-pro-demo119.exe

I'll try both of those solutions. Thanks for your help Bob.
