I am working on a remote user's desktop that is running Vista Home Premium. The user is logged into the UNIX server using Telnet Pro 5.1.26. I configured the ICELP to connect to the IP address, get it the printer name, folder, etc. I set it to run as administrator too.
After I launch ICELP, I get the error: Unix Host <IP Address> Does not reply, Or Wrong socket Number 2346 for ICELPD. Terminating ICELP.
I have setup many ICELP connections that same way, but never get this error. Any ideas?

The user is also using an HP OfficeJet 5610 as the printer. ???

I suspect that there is a firewall filtering out the 2346 packets between your remote and the unix server.

It's a winprinter. ICE.LP now has winprinter support (emulating a line printer like in TelnetPro). It is only available in Version 5.1.28. Call sales (612.677.8200) to get upgrade info.

Thanks! I will pass that on
