Regarding Telnet Pro version 5.1.30
Reply from our System Admins:
It is not an issue if we use telnet . it is only an issue where the ssh box is checked. We have no issues connecting using Putty, or other microsoft tools. It is only an issue when we try to establish a ssh connection through telnet pro.
One thing i noticed operationally is when establishing a connection with telnet a terminal window is opened and an authentication dialogue is opened with the server itself. When using ssh through telnetpro a popup window is displayed with fields to enter user name and password. It is the data entry into those fields internal to telnet pro that is timing out , NOT the connection to the server."

I got the download to work, and I already did the install. Now I'm at this error when I try to connect to any system. It looks like I'm missing some kind of Visual runtime, but I'm only guessing.

Have you received the CD yet? Have you tried to reinstall the server from the CD?

I don't have the original CD. Do I need to download the trial version, or is there another version that I need?

Sorry, I thought I answered via regular email. The setup file in the TCP5_User folder is the user setup, not the license server setup. You need the CD or original download for the license server setup.
