I wish that I had more experience with ICE.TCP, but this is my first go around and am trying to learn with someone else's hand.  

My Ireland network admin now is able to run ICE.TCP, but she cannot get the printer to work properly.  She gets an error that says:
"One of the host command lines is incorrectly setup"

The wierd thing is that she can print to a local printer, but 3 pages of giberish spit out before she actually gets what she was trying to print.

Any help again is greatly appreciated!

Make SURE the terminal type is setup properly if you are using pass-through (escape sequence) printing. The most common problem is that someone that's supposed to be using wyse60 24 lines is instead using ansi or wyse60 25 lines.

FYI wyse60 25 lines can't be used unless someone has added that terminal type to the applications database.

If they are using icelp, make sure that the unix spooler settings matches the settings on the unix machine. The spool dir should usually be /usr/tmp.

If you are not using a relatively recent version of pro (>5.1.07) you should update to the current version. There were some printing changes to versions past 5.1.07.

Finally, with current versions you can print directly to a device bypassing the windows spooler. Do a search on "direct printing" in this forum.
