Hello,

I'm from a SCO Unix background and knows how to setup ICE.TCP printing services in sco. I'm now upgrading OS to SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 8 and would like to know how to setup a printer. I've already installed ICELPD and created the service port 2346. This is fine. Where do I place the interface script?

Any help is much appreciated.

Can you find out which type of printing services SuSE 8 supports?
It is probably the older lpr, lprng  or cups.

rpm -qa | grep -i lp
rpm -qa | grep cups

Would probably give us a good clue...

Herewith some feedback. Been trying to setup a local printer but this is not working. Any help is much apreciated.
