bad use of broadcast address
« on: October 26, 2012, 04:31:50 am »

Using Telnet Pro 5.1.28. Getting message: "bad use of broadcast address" when Telnet initially starts up.
OS is XP SP3
Any ideas what this means & more importantly, how to resolve please?

Seems likely that you have a firewall on your PC that is generating that message.
You'll probably have to check the firewall's settings to turn off that message / check.
I've never seen windows firewall do that so I assume it's a third party product.
