Dialing in with a calling card
« on: December 29, 2004, 06:55:46 pm »

Hello,

I am making my first attempt to use Ice.Off.Site Ver3.0.11.

I am using WinXP Pro on my PC.

I don't have long distance service, I do all my long distance
connecting with a calling card, and have a 'connection' set
up to do so which works, but I can't seem to make Ice use it,
nor can I find anywhere to tell Ice to use a calling card!?

I can't connect to the long distance number right now!?

Any help is appreciated.

Dialing in with a calling card

You'll need to put the full number into the dialer with the calling code numbers as well, using commas (,) to insert 2 second pauses where needed.

For example:

18005551212,,,1,1234,,6125551212

18005551212 is the calling card number
,,, means 6 second delay, you'll have to adjust the delays. Make a call and time them.
1 for some calling cards means to make a call
, means a 2 second delay
1234 is the pin
,, means 4 second delay before
6125551212 dial the real destination number
