How To Identify Ice Versions
« on: January 30, 2004, 03:04:46 pm »

Legacy 16 bit versions for which support is phased out on January 31 2004 include:

ICE.TCP version 4.3.1 and older
ICE.TEN versions 4.2 and older
ICE.OFF.SITE versions 2.2 and older

These version numbers are found on the distribution media.
As a rough guide, use the following:

Any version distributed on CD is 32 bit. For the diskette distributions:

For ICE.TCP 4.3.1
help->about dejawint will show:
Emulation version 6.09n
Windows interface version 6.6.3

This version and anything older are 16 bit versions.

For ICE.TEN 4.2 and ICE.OFF.SITE 2.2
help -> about dejawin will show:
Emulaton Version 6.09l
Windows Interface Version 6.6.1

This version and anything older are 16 bit versions.

Of course, any of the DOS versions are 16 bits ;)
