Printing in Landscape Mode (using Raster printing)
« on: August 15, 2013, 10:48:17 am »

If you have a version of ICE new enough to support raster printing and a printer that you want to use for local print and printscreen in landscape mode, you can do the following.

Create another copy of the printer you want to use for landscape mode. You can rename it, perhaps tack "landscape mode" on the end to differentiate it from the default printer driver.

For the new printer, change the default layout (in Windows) to Landscape mode. (this is different in all versions of windows and most printer drivers, so you may have to do some searching).

In the File->Local print setup for PLUS, TEN or Offsite, select raster, select the "new" printer and change the chars per line (132 is a good start) and lines per page (43 is a good start). Hit Ok. Restart ICE.

If you are using PRO, these same local print settings are are in the Profile (usually default) then the Printer section.
