I have just upgraded four workstations from xp sp1 x32 to Win7 x64 and would like to ask about install procedures.  I have read the manual and have not had any luck installing from the server share.  I get "you must be an administrator user" error error.  Any help would be appreciated.

Assuming the obvious, that you are logged in with admin rights, if you haven't disabled firewalls and virus protection programs, do so and try again.
Windows Vista and 7 have generated odd error messages when trying to install an older version of TCP Pro on 64-bit PCs.  On a PC that is running, open Help > About.  Is there a version 4.4.** or Build number?  If you are running a version that is older than 5.1.21 or Build 24, it is rare that the older version will install or license a 64-bit PC.
You could try installing the trialware version to see if that will work, HOWEVER, the trialware sequence numbers will conflict with the permanent sequence numbers, and the trialware version will time out, so do not install it over your permanent license server.
