Replacing Desktops
« on: August 05, 2005, 09:20:22 am »

Number one I have never used the product we have ICETCP PRO but it is used at one of our other sites. Anybody that had knowledge of the product does not work for us anymore. My problem is we are installing new PC's and going from NT to XP and we cannot setup the new computers because we have used all the licenses (on the NT computers) so how do I recoupe the numbers to transfer to the new computers? Can I unistall from the NT computer and recoupe the number?

We are using version 5.0.69

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You can reuse the license numbers but you should NOT run 5.0.69 on XP. Get an update to the current version.

You then need to migrate your license server, see:

Remove the unused users using the licenseadmin program and then do a normal network install on the new PC. The current manual is online.
