Print Screen Changes
« on: May 19, 2004, 07:38:02 am »

When "File | Print" was chosen using prior versions (5.0.6 for example), the default option was to "Print Screen".  After updating to version 5.1.21, not only is this not the default option but it doesn't appear to be an option at all.

I realize that using the "Right click, choose 'Print Screen'" option is an available work-around.  However, many of my users are in the habit of printing from either the menu or the print icon, and therefore they are ending up printing the entire buffer rather than simply the current screen.

Thanks for reporting that. We will get a fix into the next build.

Any idea when the new build will be available?  I'm either going to wait for the fix or install a prior version, so an ETA would be appreciated

Should be within the next month. There are some other printing options being added as well that are taking some time to get ironed out.

If you need to go back in the meantime, the most recent version that still has the file print / printscreen dialog in it is:

ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/tcp-pro-demo119.exe

Note that the change in version 5.1.21 fixed troubles some people were having with XP and stability so consider that before you downgrade.
