Customize Toolbar with HOST
« on: April 11, 2008, 01:55:53 pm »

With Ice.TCP.Pro version 5.1.25:
Is there a way to add your host or host shorcuts to the Tool Bar?  Kinda like having a favorites or Links in Internet Explorer.  Where if you have several host created you could keep them on your toolbar instead of having them clutter your desktop.

Sorry that isn't possible.

The host menu "sidebar" is the way we do that.

From your description, I assume you are using the "create shortcut" function. With a lot of hosts that could lead to a cluttered desktop. I just let the host menu do that for me.

when you say the host menu "sidebar" are you referring to clicking on the computer with the magnifying glass that says "show host list".  If so, when I do this it shows all my host, but if i double click on one of the host, a new telnet window opens but a connection never establishes. just a white screen.

That's the correct way to bring up another host. If it doesn't work, the host was entered in error, unreachable, firewalled off or on another port.
