Can anyone tell me the maximum number of thumbnails that can be seen at once (without scrolling) on iOS devices? Or said another way, how many thumbnails does one see when they are reduced to the minimum size possible? Reason I ask is I plan to buy a used iOS device as a dedicated remote, and I need to decide between an iPhone 6, 6+, and iPad mini (iPad Air would be too big).
iPhone 6 can size down to 5x4 (5 rows of 4 each)
iPad Air can go to 8x7
iPhone 6+ ??
iPad mini ??
