mode1: replace original file on disk and in library
mode2: leave original file, add destination to library
converting wav to flac
In the older mc version when converting with mode 1 the conversion process would stop in the process of converting and the data would disappear completely. Don’t know if this is still the case. I cannot trust this option. “I would prefer to use this option”
Now in the mc21 version in mode2 the deletion of the original file is not shown in the library until the system removes the files in the back ground. The files shown in the library directly after the conversion are still the original files to convert but they don’t exist physically on the hard drive.
