Scientists link up monkey and rat brains in world-first experiment
« on: September 16, 2015, 03:44:44 pm »

I am not sure how I feel about this.

1. this is a huge, and successful experiment with a brain
2. what happens when in the future people are born so that there brains could then be harvested to be connected into a hive mind.

Today when I was at Behavioral health I was talking to a counselor about

Doctor Aims to Perform Head Transplant in 2017, the volunteer is  Valery Sprinidov

Sprinidov reportedly has Werdnig-Hoffmann disease, which causes atrophy of the muscles.

Will see how this turns out.

That experiment is a precursor to increasing American politician IQs  by connecting each politician's brain to a mouse.  There were discussions about using rats but it was decided they should go slowly as the massive increase in intelligence would be bad for the politician and the decrease in collective intelligence may drive the rat insane.   :P
