I was having some issues with running 3 monitors off my geforce 970 which I think I've resolved.

But one curious thing is that the JRiver numbering of my monitors in the tree settings doesn't match the numbering in the Nvidia control panel.

Given that I've had some issues with one monitor disapearing now and then, I was questioning if the different numbering suggests that I have some unresovled issues in Windows that I should correct.

Does the difference in numbering indicate anything, or is it just totally separate numbering systems.

Bump, I have the same problem on Windows 10 with a 970. Worse, the monitor numbering changes occasionally. I have to change it back and forth between #2/#3. I think the monitor I want is actually #1 according to Windows/NVidia. I think the change is related to reboot/sleep cycles.
