I'm a new user of MC, and I've run into something I'm not sure how to get around.
If I view an image from within MC, the display plugin switches to "Image". The problem is that if I then later play an mp3, the display plugin starts displaying the last-viewed images from the library, even though they aren't on the playlist. Interestingly, it does this even if the images in question have since been removed from the library, at least until I restart MC.
The problem is that a lot of my images are, well, adult, and having them pop up unbidden in the Now Playing section when I'm just trying to queue an album could have embarrassing consequences. I don't mind so much that the Display plugin does this when set to "Image", but I really wish there was a way to associate a setting of "Track Info" or "None" with music files, in the same way that viewing an image file forces "Image".
Alternately, is it just a bug that the plugin behaves this way? It does very briefly blink the "you have no images queued" message before displaying my image files. That plus the fact that it's displaying images that have been removed from the library lead me to believe that this might not be intentional behavior. I'd find it mildly annoying to have to keep switching to Track Info/None to see album art, but given a choice, I'd rather have it show me an error message than some unrequested porn.
Any suggestions? Right now, I'm pretty much forced to not use MC to track images, which is kind of a shame.
(If it matters, I'm using 9.1.247)
