Hi All,
I am currently researching equipment for a new dedicated Home Theatre and have come across a Dutch company called Pink Faun who produce a PCI-e I2S bridge in the following variants:
2 channel board
6 channel board
8 channel option made up of the 2 channel board and a 6 channel daughter board. This option is not specifically referenced anywhere, but they have confirmed its existence to me by email.
There are more details on their website
HERE, in Dutch and English (including some basic setup instructions for Windows and JRiver in the manuals section) and on their
shop page, which you will need to translate in Google Chrome
They also produce several of their own stereo DACs, the 4.32 SYM being the cheapest (890 Euros) with just an I2S on the input side, balanced & unbalanced outputs and a trigger. They have also compiled a list of DACs with I2S inputs from other companies (on their shop page) and will produce custom cables to allow for the various connection methods. They even produce a dedicate AV Streamer with a custom linear power supply.
I cannot find much more information about their products in use, especially in multi-channel setups, but here are a few links:

As their products are so niche, they have told me I could return them for a full refund after trying them, which is fair enough. I would be very interested in any comments or experiences from other forum members.
All the best!
