BBC iPlayer as Connected Media
« on: October 24, 2015, 01:03:43 pm »

I have added www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer as a website in Connected Media
If I have Tools > Options > Tree & View > Web Browser > Engine set to Internet Explorer I get a message saying "There was a problem initialising the player. Script access is denied in your browser" when I try to play anything

If I change the browser engine  to Chromium I get "You need to install Flash Player to play this content."
Flash is installed and enabled in Chrome and scripts are enabled in IE
Any ideas how to get this work?

I've had no luck getting flash to be recognised in MC's chromium implementation. Otherwise, I'd be using Tidal from within MC.

Update
https://www.itv.com/itvplayer/ works with IE as the browser engine but not with Chrome, same Flash problem
