Hi Just bought JR Media Centre 21 for my MacBook Pro, been experimenting ripping CD's with different encoders to see if I can hear any differences.

Worked with the default Apple lossless , and my first time with FLAC,

I then tried AIFF and since then I have had drive open failure notices , when it is clear the CD is in the drive & the tracks can be played.

Will occasionally work again if I put the encoder back to Apple Lossless.

Any clues , has this issue been seen before. ? javascript:void(0);
