Double Click on Title Bar
« on: November 05, 2015, 04:52:16 pm »

11. NEW: MC now supports the system preference setting for double-clicking the title bar.  Three settings: 1. Disabled, 2. Maximize/Restore, 3. Minimize.

I could not find this anywhere in Tools-->Options.  I would expect this to be in the "Tree and View" settings, but checked several other places as well.  MC now appears to default to option 1. Disabled, but I would like to set option 2 (double-click only, not single click...thanks for fixing that).

It's controlled by the Mac system preference itself, and not within MC. If you want to change this you'll need to go into the Mac's System Preferences > Dock and change this behaviour.

Thanks for the tip.  I just checked there, but there is only an option for Double-click = Minimize (option 3 in the MC21 release notes).  I am looking for option 2.  I'm using OSX 10.9.5, so maybe the options are different for 10.10 or 10.11.

It's the same on 10.10 and 10.11 too.
