No 44.1 samle rate, 16 bit...

Hello,

I have a new HP spectre with Conextant SmartAudio HD driver 8.65.98.0
In the playback settings I don't see any bitrates other that 48000, 96000 and 128,000 at 16 and 24 bits.

My question is if 44.1 isn't supported, I am wondering why?

I like to see that bitperfect light come on using WASAPI mode.

If I use Direct Sound the music plays but its not a direct path and no bluelight or bitperfect...

I can tell JRiver to resample 44.1 to 48,000 and choose WASAPI and music plays but no bitperfect path..

I can use a different external dac and it supports 44.1 and I can get bitperfect output.

MY concern is what is being done to the 44.1 source material when I ask JRiver to resample to 48Khz??

Should I care??
