Playback of tvlb files from server as Smartlist on Linux client

Hi Guys,

I (obviously) don't know the technical details of how streaming TV from a server to a client works i.e transcoding etc. but just wondering how difficult it would be for you guys to get playback of tvlb files working on a linux client?

It's a pipedream, but if you don't ask you don't get an answer :-)
