I'm trying to rip CDs, what am I doing wrong?
« on: December 14, 2015, 08:59:11 pm »

I'm trying to rip a bunch of CDs to FLAC and so far I've had issue after issue.

1.) All tracks where "Track 1, unknown artist, unknown album, track # = 1" (This is resolved, went back to .23 from .26 and that fixed that.)
2.) Every album I go to rip has the first track set as "Track 1, unknown artist, unknown album"
3.) The whole album will be Unknown Genre and no year or Album art even though the folder.jpg is in the folder if I browse for it.
4.) When I went from .26 to .23 ALL my recent rips got changed from having their info to "Artist-Track" as the title with no other info. I had to spend hours fixing it all.

I've tried letting JRiver start the RIP by itself, clicking on the drive and hitting rip disk, and hitting rip disk from the action window. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong here and why my files aren't brought back into the library with the right metadata.
