Feature Req: 3 second gap
« on: August 30, 2003, 06:24:53 pm »

For folks who have Minidisc recorders that aren't NetMD capable, it's necessary to insert a 3-second gap between songs so that the recorder knows to lay down a track mark.

I'm wondering if, in addition to the current playback options (Tools, Options, Playback, Between Tracks), another one could be added to MC9.x in the future: "3 second gap (MD recording)".  Selecting this would do just that.

Is this a reasonable request, and is there someplace I should officially log it?

Thanks guys!

Can't you just set between tracks to standard and set the duration to 3s???

Well...

DUH!!!

I never noticed that setting the Between Tracks option to standard changes the crossfade duration to gap duration!  Thanks for pointing that out Adam.

Sure does show that JR have thought of almost everything!
