TIFF files are imported with wrong date

When importing a TIFF photo, MC sets its date wrongly to the file date instead of the Date Taken exif value.

I checked the TIFF file in Windows Explorer and the Date Taken field is correct.

The same photo saved as jpg, by the same program that saved the TIFF, is imported correctly by MC (Date = Date Taken).

I can provide links to both the jpg and tiff files if you want to do any test.
