I've searched the forums and have come across a few instances of my problem but nothing I've read has resolved my issue.

I am accessing an album from within the 'Panes' section by double-clicking the album I want to listen to. However when it starts to play the track order is 10, 1, 11, 2, 3, 4 etc.

The file names have track numbers included, but they are of the format '01', '02' etc. so this should have no bearing on the play sequence.

I cannot work out why this is happening. I just want the playing sequence to match the track number. I really just play albums and only require this functionality.

Any ideas?

It sounds like your sorting is a little off in your Panes view.  Can you see the individual tracks in your Panes view?  If not, switch to a view that shows you the individual tracks so you can see how they are sorted.  Or go to the Panes menu and go to Sort By and choose Default.

I'm assuming you have shuffle turned off? (Player > Shuffle > (choose) )

If none of this works, try posting a screen shot of your Panes view and maybe of your Playing Now.

Ah yes, it seems that this has resolved my problem. I hadn't ensured that my groups were sorted by track# - still getting the hang of the 'Panes' feature. Thanks for the speedy response.
