Channel assignments

Is there a way to change channel assignments, like using the right speaker for the left channel, and the left speaker for the right channel?

Sure.  The DSP Studio has a Parametric EQ section.  You can add several different types of filters here.  The one labeled "mix channels" allows you to do things like swap left and right.  You can also add channels together, or move them completely.  It has a lot of flexibility.
