MC21 attempts to open a page using IE and fails

The page is http://jriver.com/start.html which works fine if I use Firefox. Can MC21 be configured to open the page in Firefox instead?

That page opens fine for me with IE in MC.  Strange.

You could try switching your browser engine to Chromium in Options > Tree & View.

I switched it. That fixed it.
