Skip (jump) times in Video
« on: February 04, 2016, 03:34:09 pm »

With my IR Remote the skip times from 'Options' are used (in my case 30 secs for forward jumps and 10 secs for backward jumps). However with the mouse roller button it jumps 20 secs both forward and backward.

Could this be altered so the mouse uses the configured times like the IR Remote?

I'll second that. Seems a reasonable expectation.

It looks at how much the mouse wheel moves and adjusts the seek based on that.  That way a really fast / big mouse wheel will seek more.

I'm not sure about undoing that and just issuing a seek without a number of milliseconds.

Hi Matt - yes I note that it moves 20sec per roller rotational increment. The issue for me is that the minimum skip value is the same in each direction. What you have working for the other devices is more useful, where it is a longer (say 30sec) for forward movement through the video than backward.

So if we could have the mouse roller use those values for each rotational increment in the respective directions it would be more useful.

Cheers
