Question about Analyzer in DSP Studio [SOLVED]
« on: February 04, 2016, 10:18:49 am »

When listening to music in Display View on my desktop computer, I like to look at the DSP Studio Analyzer. However when the track changes (next song) the Analyzer "unloads". Then I have to click off Analyzer on the DSP Studio screen and then click back on Analyzer to start it again. Also there is no "scale" shown for "dB" (left side of graph), only the bottom scale shows.

Is there a way to setup MC so the Analyzer will continue to display for each song without my interaction?

A running analyzer should just keep running at track switches (and it is for me).

The track switch doesn't even get communicated to the DSP because there's a steady stream of data going out.

It's odd.

The Analyzer view "unloads" (meaning the graph disappears) just before the track ends (1 or 2 seconds before), and the DSP Studio window stays open. So it's not triggered by the track ending. I can see the "Peak Level" is still showing some value (like 10%) when the graph disappears. Then the next song starts.

UPDATE: I just found out the if I delete the "per file DSP" settings that I have for each file in the album (I use Volume Leveling and Output Format), then the Analyzer graph will continue to display as tracks change.
