I use the Relife VST to capture back some dynamics from over-compressed albums. However when its enabled it causes a strange stutter on new tracks. From nothing playing, when I start a new track, it plays smoothly for a 10-16 seconds, stutters for a second, then continues playback.
Tracks are from Redbook CDs encoded as AAC, mp3, ALAC. Changes to buffering settings do not seem to affect it. Changing settings in other VST's definitely affects it. I get another stutter about 10 seconds after changing a setting in another VST.
This is in Win10, MC21, library is all on a 1tb ssd, Asrock Extreme 6 motherboard optical out to two different DACs.
DSP studio has activated: Output Format (96khz across the board), Volume Leveling, ReLife, Ozone 5, and TT Dynamic Range meter.
