Hi, I use MC everyday at work but have a bit of a problem. The PC is locked down, as you'd expect, so I run MC from my own hard-drive. Unfortunately though it is read only (company restriction) so every day or time I undock I have to start from scratch. I have tried copying all the MC files over on to my laptop, which works fine but it no longer recognises the reg code. If I try to put the code in it asks for the admin password.

Is there some way I can get it to recognise the reg code that's on my hard drive?

I'm assuming you just want local playback and that you are not trying to connect to your home server from your office, right?

Have you tried a portable install of JRiver on a portable external drive. That might work. You can get another reg "file" from the restore License restore web page. Just bring it to work with you.
