Movie Tagging Broken
« on: February 26, 2016, 03:26:35 am »

See attached. It appears that the Movie Tagging on Import is Messed Up.

In the screenshot you can see that a number of films are repeated (they are not multiple disk DVDs) and the imported movie info does not match the actual movies.

You can see that "American History X" appears twice. The first Entry is correct. The second is Actually "Boyz N' The Hood".

There is nothing odd about my import and my films are all stored correctly in line with the movie db .org.

Any ideas?!

Weird one this.

I think that something has changed the "Name" tag on the films to the incorrect name and as such the wrong information is applied..

When I change this tag manually it appears to stay fixed. Even after a re-import.

Any idea how this happened though?

OK so I just sorted out the "Name" tag for the first 20 films or so (out of about 400) and then cleared out the library and started again.

All sorted now. I can only imagine it didn't like the name of one of my films and it screwed up the whole import process from that point.

Ah well.
