Can't input password to complete store purchase

I just tried to purchase a couple items from the Pono Store through the Mac Pono World app.  I couldn't enter my password.

First thing I tried was to paste it in as I had copied it from 1Password.  Paste didn't work by either the edit menu or the context menu.

Next I tried keying it in. But every time I input a certain special character the screen would refresh and clear all the text.

I next went to the website and was able to complete my purchase.

It would be really helpful if paste work on this screen.
