Questions on Upgrading

<< < (21/23) > >>

JimH:
That should work.  Did you install MC22?

rganiard:
I'm running 21 no problems and have a license for 22 but am waiting.  May I delete version 18, still installed, to free up disk space?  Thx.

JimH:
Back up your library in MC21, then uninstall MC18.

rganiard:
Thanks for this.  JR18 won't uninstall from Windows 10 control center, nor if I click on the JR18 uninstall app directly in it's folder.  Is there an incompatibility with Windows 10?  I have used 19 and 20 and they're gone (I assume they were deleted when I upgraded) except for folders of backups.  Why can't I get rid of 101MB of JR18?  Appreciate any insight!

JimH:
Download and install the last version of MC18.  You can find it in "Old Versions" on our wiki or you can go here:
http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Restoring_a_License

Run it once and then uninstall it.
