play and skip counters
« on: May 19, 2016, 05:30:24 am »

I'm using JRiver since years now and I'm extremely happy with it, the only problem I've seen is that the "number of plays" counter (metadata playback statistics) is increased twice (the first increase is done as soon as the track starts and the second at the end of the track).

Is there a way to avoid this problem in oprder to hadle the counter in the right way?

I'm streaming music, using JRiver zone, from a NAS to an external DAC (PS audio) via ethernet.
I'm now using JRiver V 21 on a Windows 10 Pc.

thanks for the answer

Just for the avoidance of doubt: are you pushing to your DAC via UPnP / DLNA ??

This happen when I'm using only the PC (using the zone feature) and also if I use an adroid device with UPnP/DLNA
