I hope folks don't mind me posting a link to another site. I used Audiolense to optimise my speakers by
- develop a linear phase digital XO for biamping.
- time align the drivers.
- smooth the frequency response using a linear phase target.
- use "room correction" to reduce non-minimum phase low frequency room reflections (i.e. reduce group delay).
- use "partial correction" for constant directivity waveguide equalization, but partial time domain correction.

JRiver features used: convolution engine, internal digital volume control, loudness control and volume protection. Really happy with the resulting sound quality.
