How to start video in full screen Display View
« on: May 21, 2016, 05:04:03 pm »

How do I get MC to start in full screen Display View when starting an external video? I've played with all the options but nothing seems to change. All my videos start in the tiny Display View down by the Action window. Currently, I have options set to:
- Jump on play (video): Display View
- "Jump to windowed display mode when playback is started externally" Unchecked. I've also tried checked but there was no difference.

No matter what options I select, MC always goes to the tiny Display View when I start a video.

My settings are similar to yours.  When I double click on a video thumbnail, video playback starts full screen.  I've got a separate video zone set up.  I did this because I use slightly different audio options with videos as opposed to music.  I don't think the zones make a difference in this case.

Are you aware of the hot key to go to full screen (Display View)?  <Command>3

There might be something subtle we are missing.  I'll try to give it some thought when I'm not drinking beer.  :)  Happy Saturday!
