Help, sudden problem with WMA files
« on: August 08, 2003, 07:06:58 am »

Not sure that this is MC related, for some reason I can't go back to any older versions of MC to test.  All old versions fail to recognize my library

THE PROBLEM: When I try to burn a WMA file I get a message telling me I don't have permission to do so.  I'm not aware of any changes I made in MS or Windows Media Player updates or anything.

I burned all of the WMA files from my CDs and have recorded them many times.

Any thoughts anybody?

Thanks,
Ken

Same problem here...haven't tried in many revisions so I don't know how old this problem is.  MC9 properly recognizes that the files were burned with no protection, but at burn time the error you're seeing pops up for me too.

Hoping for a solution, as I can't burn any of my library!

It'll be fixed next build.  Sorry for the troubles.
