Default Preset
« on: June 14, 2016, 02:11:23 pm »

Hi all, is there a way to have a preset view load when I start MC?

I saved a preset for listening to audio, adding the column "number of plays", and whenever I restart the program it defaults to the standard layout and I have to load my preset again.

I searched around and if there is a way to do this, I haven't used the proper terminology.

Many thanks.

have you tried tools>options>start up>start up interface...then choose location and last location....then when you shut down MC and reopen it should open where you shut down, be sure to shutdown on the tab you want it to open with....for test purposes after closing MC wait a minute or two before restarting...this assures MC completely closed.

Unfortunately that doesn't work. I already had it set to last location. It still defaults to the original columns. I don't remember having this problem with older versions of MC, but I've just now tried to find a solution.

Is this a local library, or are you connecting to a server as an MC client?

If you are connecting to a server MC, then you must make your changes on the server, not the client.
