How to remove Subtitle OSD?
« on: July 03, 2016, 04:02:01 pm »

Is there a way to not show the OSD when selecting Subtitles on or off?
Can it be turned off?

I have an on/off for subtitles set on my ipad, I would like to just hit on/off without seeing the Subtitle toggle on, off, null at the bottom of the screen...

Tools > Options > Tree & View > Advanced > Enable OSD > (uncheck)

That will completely disable the OSD.  Not sure if that's what you want, but you can test it out and see.

There's an MCC for that too. It wasn't listed on the wiki page, so I just added it...

30025   MCC_SET_OSD_ENABLED   -1 toggles, 1 turns on, 0 turns off (MC21.exe /mcc 30025,-1)

Handy for applying to a remote control button.

Yes we had to figure this out for ourselves as we found nothing on it. Trial and error sorted it yesterday. We came up with the same as you... :)
