Hi all,

I've been using JRiver and Chromecast to play videos on my TV. I do this by connecting to my PC's JRiver media server via JRemote (or Gizmo) on my phone, and then selecting the "cast" button in the upper-right to send the video to the Chromecast attached to the TV.

Neither JRemote nor Gizmo appear to have a setting to display subtitles, and Media Center's settings don't have a "zone" for my phone, so it would seem subtitles aren't supported by the mobile apps.

And yet, sometimes subtitles ARE shown, and other times not. I can't figure out what's causing this. I currently have Media Center set to always show subtitles, and when I played a video yesterday on my TV (via JRemote --> Chromecast), the subtitles appeared, yet today, when playing the same video (using the same method), they didn't appear.

Anyone have any ideas? Help is appreciated.
